The Hydrographic Services Review Panel recommended the five priority actions above to NOAA by as necessary to maintain and improve a competitive U.S. Marine Transportation System. These actions are from the priorities for hydrographic services improvements recommended in the Federal Advisory Committee Special Report, 2007 prepared by the Hydrographic Services Review Panel Hydrographic Services Review Panel. (HSRP Most Wanted Hydrographic Services Improvements, Federal Advisory Committee Special Report 2007.) Additional GCOOS-specific priorities will be developed during a future workshop.
